Angels and Heroes

Unfortunately we will not be able to run our Angels and Heroes event in 2022. We look forward to presenting the programme again in 2023.

Each year on 31 October, St John’s puts on a free party for primary-aged children in the neighbourhood. There are sideshow games like the coconut shy and dart balls - and of course, soak the pastor - and also light refreshments and a disco. Collect up tickets as you go and redeem them for great prizes. Prizes for most original costume and for the colouring competition are awarded during the disco. Leave time to have some supper. It’s free and there’s no need to register. When: 31 October each year First session 4pm - 5.30pm Second session 6pm - 7.30pm

Who: Primary-age children and their families. The activities are also suitable for older preschoolers.

Where: Enter through the main church building
